Gutters.

Let it rain. Because you have great gutters.

New Look Roofing believes in using nothing but the highest quality gutter materials and components to enhance the value and longevity of your home.

 Gutter System Styles

K-Style Gutters have flat bottoms and backs, and the front side of the gutter usually has a decorative shape, such as a curve or ogee, that mimics crown molding. Many styles are available.

Half Round Gutters are exactly what the name suggests: half-round tubes. Half-round gutters often are found on older, historic homes.

Debris in addition to standing water can weigh well over a hundred pounds and damage the angle of the gutter (known as the gutter’s pitch line). If that pitch is lost due to excess weight, standing water can back up away from the downspout and into your home or even overflow into the home’s foundation, possibly flooding your basement.

Keep the rain where it belongs and your basement dry with New Look complete gutter systems.

Gutter Materials We Install

Copper

  • Exceptional beauty

  • Won’t rust

  • No need to paint; will develop a patina over time

  • Needs pro installation; seams and joints must be welded

  • Used primarily on high-end residences and historic restorations

Seamless Aluminum

Seamless (or continuous) gutters are made at the job site.  There’s no hauling of long gutters. About 70% of all gutter installations are the seamless type.

  • Eliminates many seams and reduces chances of leaks

  • Costs slightly more than regular aluminum gutters

Downspouts

Downspouts come as either round or square, in widths from 3 to 6 inches. The most common sizes are rectangular:

  • 2 inches by 3 inches

  • 3 inches by 4 inches

Decorative varieties, such as spiral shapes, are available.

The size and number of downspouts you’ll need depends on the capacity of your system.

 GUTTER GUARDS

  • They can be added to existing gutters.

  • Gutter guards prevent birds and rodents from building nests in the gutters.

  • They eliminate the need to clean your gutters frequently.

  • Gutter guards prevent the build-up of stagnant water in your gutters, which could otherwise back up and overflow into your home or serve as a breeding ground for insects.

  • Your gutters will last longer, since they won’t prematurely rust and rot from the moisture and debris sitting in them.

  • Gutter guards enable more efficient rain water harvesting by improving the flow of water and filtering out some contaminants.

  • You can even get heated gutter guards that will melt icicles, ice dams, and snow.
